Mr. Abid Saqi, has been providing advisory and litigation services to the national and multinational clients, besides public sector and non-profit entities to the entire satisfaction of such clients for the last 35 years.

He has successfully conducted over 1,000 cases of various categories in High Courts and Supreme Court of Pakistan. Being a highly professional, conscientious, progressive, and dedicated lawyer, and with remarkable skills like advocacy, consultancy, negotiation, drafting and research, he is greatly esteemed among the fellow professionals as well as the others having an associated line of work.

Mr. Saqi’s areas of specialized interest include: Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Corporate Law, Energy Oil & Gas, Local Government Law, Cooperatives Law, Election Law and Media Laws. He also holds the distinction to defend the first case on Cyber-Law in the Lahore High Court Lahore.

In addition to legal experience, Mr. Saqi is also associated with many civil society organizations and working on legal issues pertaining to minorities’ rights, women, children and workers’ rights as well as implementation of International Human Rights in the light of Constitution and international treaties.

Sabahat Rizvi has been providing litigation and advisory services to a large number of national and multinational clients for over 20 years. She has successfully conducted around 700 cases of various categories in High Courts and Supreme Court of Pakistan. She has been a highly professional, conscientious and dedicated lawyer, having amazing advocacy, consultancy, drafting and research skills.

Sabahat has been a great example of a richly empowered woman, who has achieved a distinctive milestone in over 130 years history of the Lahore High Court Bar Association by having been elected as the first female Secretary and has performed her role exceptionally.

Sabahat’s areas of specialized interest include: Constitutional Law, Corporate Law, Banking Law, IP Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Real Estate, Family Law and Employment Law.

She is also carrying out voluntary work being the General Secretary of Free Legal Aid Society for the Helpless (FLASH) for the last 7 years. She is also associated with many other organizations working on transgenders’, minorities’, women’, children’ and workers’ rights.

M. Shahid Usman is an LLM in International and European Business Law from University of Leeds, UK, and PGD in Banking Laws from University of the Punjab. He remained a legal advisor to the Federal Board of Revenue, Pakistan for over 07 years. Currently, he is the legal advisor of Federal Ministry of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs and the state- owned Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, besides a number of private corporate clients.

He has over 18 years of experience in the field of legal advisory, compliance and litigation. He served as the Secretary of Fiscal Laws Committee of Lahore High Court Bar Association as well as Member of Executive Committee of Lahore Tax Bar Association in 2013-2014.

Being a former civil servant (Section Officer of Government of the Punjab) for 5 years, Shahid possesses first-hand experience of governmental working. Assignments performed by him during his career in law include Legal & Policy Review of the Punjab Sales Tax on Services as Team Leader and Execution Team Member of the Tax Administration Reforms Project of World Bank for the Tax Committee of Tajikistan.

His areas of practice include International Trade, Corporate, Tax, Energy, Labour & Service laws, and white collar & cybercrime. He has been conducting arbitrations in industrial and trade disputes of leading business organizations. He also has exceptional drafting and research skills.

As coordinator of the Journalist Defense Committee established by the Pakistan Bar Council, Usman has provided invaluable legal assistance to journalists facing state persecution.
